The People of the Ukraine Meet Ecotopia

Arrived here in a mini-bus driven by Gregory.

Two days drive from Amsterdam to the little village of Sheshory,

There waits Ecotopia with the vegans and vegetarians

Four hundred young people from thirty five countries congregating in the

Carpatian Mountains with their compost toilets.

Beautiful youth with a vision of a world without leaders and politicians, a dream from time immortal.

John Lennon says, I am a dreamer but I am not the only one. He must have been to Ecotopia, for here there are four hundred dreamers with a vision for a better life for humankind.

Nearby are the people of the Ukraine, joining in and becoming part of the dream.

Everyday brings hope that war and misery will cease.

Swimming against the current in the local rivers these warriors go, knowing that they are not the only ones.

They mix and speak their body language with the local people and it is clear to them that they are guest.

They laugh, smile and love.

Ecotopia has come to the people of the Ukraine.
